ABOUT PENWORTHAM OPEN GARDENS
The gardens that open during this event are not normally open to the public.For one day a year these gardens open their gates, and share their beauty, gardening knowledge and passion for public enjoyment. Each garden is different both in size, style, the type of flowers, shrubs and and the trees grown. Year on year the Penwortham Open Gardens Committee and the public have been overwhelmed in the effort, nuturing and garden expertise shown, and commend all those garden owners who over the past years have generously opened their gardens and volunteered their time for this event.
To sustain and grow the Penwortham Open Gardens and Autumn Show for the benefit of charitable organisations and local communities of Penwortham, and that through these events there will be enjoyment, skill sharing and cohesion for the people of Penwortham.
